Hello Alan, welcome to the boards.

Have you had a look for a marriage for them on FreeBMD to find out her maiden name?

??? Looks like her husband died in Romford Essex and the son also married in the same area in Essex so this death looks likely

There is a possible marriage for the Son to a Gutsell........and a Daughter born to the marriage.

The three of them appear together on the 2012-2013 Electoral Roll.

I will PM the details to Alan.

Thank you all for your information,it has been most helpful!
Uncle Eddy and Aunt Tess were an unknown quantity in the family and little was known about them. Now I can move forward in placing them in their rightful place in the family.
Once again, thank you all for your assistance in this matter.

Eringobragh1916 Report 20 Oct 2013 18:50

A distinct possibility...The surname spelling was predominant in the Co Longford although there were a few in the Co's.Dublin/Westmeath/Kildare...a cross check of the names (1911 Census Ire.) showed by a large the families had originated in the Co Longford...
The spelling "Geraghty" is by far the greater but given Theresa was shown as Gerety then I would be following that spelling for her family...it does appear to be correct.
