She's Caroline Mary 26/05/1917 Father William Dudfield Mother J E Dudfield formerly Bigsby......on her birth cert that I have
She was known as Mary and according to her marriage cert she is Mary Caroline DUTFIELD - father William Henry DUTFIELD 13/12/1941
Then on Brenda Ann 13/03/1948 birth cert she is Mary Caroline Mace formerly DUFFIELD......
I've just found a birth for George E 1912 Apr-May-Jun Mothers maiden name Bigsby and possibly the following siblings
1903 Julia Emily
1908 Thomas James
1915 Margaret Mary
So so so confused

I did see this one but my Aunt hasn't mentioned another sister........
She'd be a lot older - I'll have to find her birth and order her certificate I guess to rule her in or out.......

I think I am a bit too confused by all of this but I looked for a marriage of an M. Dudfield to a Mr. Harris and found this one:-

I am very confused by this family -
I have a birth certificate for:
Brenda Ann 13/3/1948 Bermondsey Father Herbert James Mace Mother Mary Caroline Mace formerly DUFFIELD
I also have the marriage cert for Caroline and Herbert 13/12/1941:
Herbert James Mace 20 Bachelor Soldier Fathers Name Herbert Mace
Mary Caroline DUTFIELD 24 Spinster Packer Fathers Name William Henry DUTFIELD.
Knowing that information I've searched for records and really struggled to find anything so went back to the box........
Going through papers I found some funeral cards for Richard DUDFIELD died 21/6/1943..... Spoke with my aunt and she said yes Richard was Mary's brother.....
So looked, found and ordered birth certs for Richard DUDFIELD and Mary Caroline DUDFIELD, I also ordered Richards Death cert. Well they arrived today to say i'm confused is an understatement......
They are definitely related as have same mother and father Julia Emily DUDFIELD formerly BIGSBY and William Edward DUDFIELD - I can find a birth and marriage for Julia to William can't find a birth for William.......
But I'm confused that on Richard's death cert the informant was his sister M.HARRIS!
Have I cross matched wrong families? I thought that this might be where the dyslexia stemmed from....
