Hadn't tried Fred! BUT I followed a Frederick in census who fits with mother Mary from Whittlesey and and that Fred's father is called William which contradicts the one in the marriage above who is John. :-0

That one looks more promising Maddie if we are sticking with his father being John.

1871 A POSSIBLE it says he is nephew so do you know if this fits?

Hi Chris
I found that birth and death which was a pain as it still leaves me with holes on his life and origins. He was certainly born in Ramsey but the family there seems to be most of the inhabitants! Will keep looking as hadn't got to the local society but no records for Ramsey on FSO or Hugh Wallis.
