As for John Roberts second marriage we are unsure as to his wifes maiden name so Lay could well be the correct marriage. Especially with the further information of the family leaving the country and the names corresponding with my info, as my dad is not sure about Pauline's name and it could well be Patricia. The information my dad has is from his late teens and he's never known anything further. In answer to your question Robert John Knight who was adopted out of the family is indeed my dad. Rachael
