My g grandmother Lucy Grainger surname Bradley Born 1860 Netherton Worcestershire vol 6c line 141. was married to Charles Roberts born 1853 Stourbridge. I am trying to find Lucy's mothers maiden name as it is not on birth certificate. any help would be appreciated. many thanks

An odd middle name such as 'Grainger' usually leads you to the mothers maiden name as Reggie shows above.

Just a thought. You say the mothers maiden name is not on the certificate - could you mean that it is not recorded in the baptismal entry rather than the actual Birth Certficate.
