Notice the Hundred is the same as in the census. Hundreds were small administrative districts in a county and used in the 1841 census.
Great Barr is in the sub-registration district of Aldridge, registration district of Walsall.

Deirdre, if you're referring to that 1829 marriage I posted then don't expect spellings back then to necessarily be the same as they are now or in later records.
Spellings of names change through the ages, mainly due to the poor standards of literacy - if someone couldn't read then they never knew if their name had been recorded correctly. Sometimes the literacy of the registrars wasn't all it should be.
Errors also happen during the transcription process.
