..............and if you look at date of birth given on death record it is the same as your Dorothy Gertrude so must be correct, although to be absolutely sure you would need to buy the marriage certificate and her birth certificate to see if father's names are the same.

We have contacted Bernardos and they had no records for Dorothy. Albert's wedding (child) is very interesting. By the way, brother was Arthur B. (same as his father) and not Albert.

Don't think you will find any online records that could tell you why the children were adopted maybe your best bet is to try and contact any decendants. I will pm you the names of Arthur Jnr.'s children.
