I am trying to find out what happened to James Albert Anderson born 1868 in Armley, Yorkshire (son of Andrew and Mary nee Hardaker) who emigrated from Yorkshire, England to Australia. He died sometime between 1897 and 1912 but not able to find his death details. Any one help?

Hi k - do you have any ideas about which part of Oz he went to and do you know if he married and had children?

Flip Report 17 Nov 2013 07:37

His exact date of birth from his christening may help - 13/9/1868.

I have info on James and his parents up to when he entered Australia as a boy but then no info - that is what I am after!

Susan Report 19 Nov 2013 07:24

I am trying for you K as I live in OZ myself but he is proving hard to find :-)

k Report 19 Nov 2013 12:45

I agree he is hard to find - I am in UK so I thought maybe down under he would be easier to find! All we know is that he entered into Victoria and later the family moved to Sydney area, but he may not have gone with them. We were wondering if he went to another state or even left Australia but from the limited things I found on line it did not reveal anything! He has to have died somewhere!!!! but where is the question.
