Gwyn in Kent Report 27 Jan 2014 16:36

In 1873 John Edward BELLCHAMBERS, a joiner, married Margaret Ann Mac Connell in Chelsea, but then where did he go?

He was born c.1847 in Taunton, Somerset and in 1871 is shown as John E. Belchamber, a cabinet maker boarding in Tewksbury, Gloucestershire.

Someone has him on an Ancestry tree dying 1931 in Denver, USA, so any sighting of him onboard ship would be welcome please.
They do not list Margaret in USA though...?

I am helping a friend who knows his parentage and information about his siblings, it's just John Edward after his marriage she needs help with please.

Thanks for looking Gins.

Yes, ..I thought that is a likely match for Margaret, so one would think that he'd be somewhere in that broad area...?

Thanks Gins.

I do take those trees with a pinch of salt, so I'd like to see evidence that he actually went, but my friend can contact them direct to see if they know details.
They have got actual date and place of death, so there is hope that it is correct.

They might have proof of the death, so worth contacting

Might be worth sending for his fathers Will

Thank you Tenerife Sun and alviegal.
They are great pieces of information.
I will talk to my friend tomorrow and see if she can eliminate any of the other Edwards.
Maybe the tree holder on Ancestry has blended families, so this will need clarifying.
