I am trying to find the parents of Thomas Hallam, born 1796 in Quorn Leicestershire. I know Thomas was married to Ann Lovett and they had a son John, but I can't find the parents of Thomas anywhere. If anyone can help I would be very grateful. Thank you.

Many thanks. I do have his info since marriage, but can't find his birth. I am wondering if he was perhaps born somewhere other than Leicestershire. I don't know if he had any siblings. <3

All census records show his birthplace as Leicestershire

The marriage posted above, coupled with this record, would seem to suggest that Ann may have been a sibling to Thomas

Chris Ho...................what has caused you to envy me?

Eileen

Eileen Report 8 Apr 2014 13:38

Could be Reggie, most of them came from Quorn. I remember my mum telling me my Grandad was born there.
She would have been amazed at the people I have found in her tree. :-)

(Reggie, was seeing your lovely 1841 format, so much better to understand, and easier on the eye!, not liking new FMP style!)

Lol Reggie, I'm lost for words at it!...could cry!, it's like doing your job (or hobby in our case) with only half your box of tools. Just hate it.

(and I know I should never envy anybody, My dear Mum always used to say so!)

Chris :)
