Please can someone see if they can find a death for Walter grey b 1871 in Thornton, lincolnshire and his wife Martha Grey b c1877 in Grasby Lincolnshire. They moved to Quebec in 1912. On the 1921 census they were living in York Township, York South Ontario. He was working as a Tea master.

They had a son Frank Henry Grey born 1902 in Bullwell Nottingham .

Frank emigrated to Canada where he married Marjorie Jeanette Gerrie on 31 October 1923.

This is the last trace I have of this family.

Thanks for your help

Jane

Hi Richard and Grumpy

Martha was born in Grasby lincs about 1877/8 and Frank was born 1902 in Nottingham. Walter was born 1870 in Thornton Lincs.

I hope this helps. I wonder why Walter is not with Martha and Frank. Could he have gone out earlier.

Thanks again

Jane

Does something really say Tea master, rather than teamster (i.e., truck driver).

MarieCeleste

MarieCeleste Report 8 Apr 2014 22:00

He is a teamster on the 1921.

Jane

Jane Report 9 Apr 2014 07:04

Thanks for that MarieCeleste. I did google Tea Master and there is a course in Ontario where you can gain a tea masters qualification by studying different sorts of teas.
