How can I find out what two of my ancestors died of?
Richard Houghton was 72 and was buried on 10.02 1885. His wife, Margery Houghton, nee Twist, was buried in the same grave on the same day in St Helen's Cemetry. She was 7 years older than him.

You need to get their death certs for that info .Thats the only way to know the cause of death.

TB was very rife then but Richard may have died from age related problems as 72 was a good age then
