No address on the certificate, just says the burgh of Glasgow.

Family search does show a possible marriage for "Elizabeth" Archer to Robert Russell in 1861 in Glasgow.

Trouble with Scottish research is that quite often woman do use their maiden names

Yeah she was registered as Mary Archer but the birth certificate states that Eliza Archer was wife of Robert Russell. I would have assumed that she would have taken Russell as the surname but it just states that she was registered as Archer.

Looking for any information on Mary Archer. My mum has found her birth certificate in a box of family details but she doesn't actually know why or who she is in regards to our family.

Details are Mary Archer

Born or registered on 23 july 1865

Daughter of Robert Russell and Eliza Archer
Born in the burgh of Glasgow
