Find Ancestors

Hi am trying to find out about Hannah Monks of Bolton, Lancs, born about 1886.
married Frederick Smith in about 1908. Remarried a Robinson.
I know she was in Lupton St in 1911 with Frederick and 3 of the children.
Any help, especially about her parents would be greatly appreciated.

I would say that this is definitely the right household in 1901

in the 1881 census someone has corrected Maria Mayoh's name

the person who made the correction says
'It says Mayoh and he is Mayoh in 1891 and 1901'
referring to Peter Mayoh who is in the same household
and the username is PhilpottsMayoh so the person seems to be related, and could be reached through Ancestry
... however ... their large 'Many Mayohs' tree doesn't include Maria or Eve/Eva or any Monks


but note also that someone corrected the surname Elliot to Elliott for the 1901 family of Wallace and Maria at Ancestry and they could be contacted as well ... his Nelson Family Tree shows Eve Mayoh but no details of her descendants

Hi. Many thanks to all who have posted! I am so grateful for the help. It is the same family. I had tracked down a possibility through the 1901 census, which is where Lupton st came from. I was confused by head of family Margaret but looked at alongside the other records this is obviously the sister Maggie. I have also found a possible match that I can now confirm with Hannah's mother's name as Eve rather than Margaret. I have sent off for the marriage certificate to confirm this.
