Hi everyone I'm looking for any information on John A Taylor born 1933 leicester. His father was Charles Taylor 1913-1991 and mother Elizabeth Green who I'm also struggling for info on. All com from Leicester area,

If Charles Taylor married Elizabeth Green in 1928 I would have expected him to have been born before 1913 as you say.

Is it possible that he was born in 1906 which would make him 21/22 when he married which would seem more likely. If so then there is this birth:-

I think it is much more likely that the Charles Taylor born 1913 (no middle name) was this one:-

Yes Rose, I think this Charles W. Taylor born 1906 is much more likely to be the Charles who married Elizabeth Green and that these are the parents of John A. Taylor born 1933.

Perhaps Emma has mixed up these two Charles Taylors.

Charles and Elizabeth Green's marriage certificate should clarify whether or not Charles gives his father's name as Charles William.

Hi sorry I do know Charles taylors father is albert harry start taylor. I have a picture of Charles marring and his birth is definatly 1913 his mother maiden name is chapman. I a newspaper article that refers to his wife as being called Betty, but that could be short for Elizabeth?

Emma, the Charles born to Chapman and H S Taylor in 1913 cannot be the Charles who married in 1928, to Elizabeth Green, he would be 15!

Have you considered that Evelyn B Chapman might have had the middle name Betty, or Elizabeth,

It is much better to stick to one thread per family, then people can see ages and details rather than trying to find everything from scratch.

Can I ask who exactly you are looking for information on? Is it The parents of John A. Taylor born 1933 (in which case it is NOT the Charles born 1913 but probably the Charles W. Taylor born 1906.

Or is it the Charles Taylor who was born in 1913 and died in 1991?
