I'm looking for the whereabouts of my father in 1939 his name was

Peter Logan born 1910 Liverpool.
He may have been in the Army!

Any help will be greatly appreciated

birth date 18th May 1910 it says he is single.

Peter Logan and Ivy Frances nee Harris. I have their marriage cert and Ivy's birth and death records from BMD
Ivy died in 1943.
Dad was posted at a nearby RAF base with the Royal Artillery.

Do you know if the register lists serving military personel stationed at home?

what were his parents called?

Yes that is him with his first wife, he was serving as a gunner at a local RAF base then they had a son the following year and ivy died the year after.

I have all census from 1901 back but can't find his parents on the 1911

I didn't know Samuel was a miner! Or it seems she had a brother too!
I just had their marriage certificate.
My father married my mother in Liverpool 1946 four years before I was born.

Have you applied for his army records . They do take time to come through but will give his addresss and when he joined up

He also had a brother Michael and sister Frances who died in 1916 + 1918
There was a mysterious younger brother Francis who survived. My mother and brother met him but I've never found his birth.
There is one in Manchester I think even with the same mothers maiden surname but both parents have different first names.

My grandparents married Christmas Day 1901
They were John Logan and Mary Catherine maguire
I have all their family history though Mary's stop with her parents father's
Her father was born in Cavan Ireland and her mother was born in Cumbria to an Irish horse dealer!

A tree on Ancestry (owner ronalddutton1690 - do you know him?) says brother Francis was born 1912, so this will be his birth, presumably, although the tree says he was born Liverpool:

That Francis Logan's parents have different first names to that of my dads parents. I had checked this out some years ago.
