Agnes was born in .Scotland on the 13th September, 1939. Does anyone know how I can look at the records for Scotland as I would like to know who her parents were.
Thank you.

Try using the Scotland's People site
https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/search-our-records

It's pay as you go, not membership, although you do need to register. You can then buy credits £7.50 for 30, but you will get the result posted by Alviegal for free. If birth records are over 100 years old (marriages 75 and deaths 50) you can look at and download a copy of the certificate for 6 credits. Anything younger for privacy reasons is only available to order at £12 a go I think, which you can do through the site.

Older records might also be found on the free Family Search site -
