Hi everyone, I am looking for details on my Gt.Gt.GF Robert Rowland, born 1817.He married Elizebeth Harvey and lived in the Crossmaglen area of Co.Armagh,Ireland.They had 6 children; George Thomas,b20/7/1847,d16/11/1926 John Harvey,b19/8/1849,d28/12/1932 Blayney Grier Mary Alicia Susannah John and George both emigrated to the U.S.George to Wisconsin in 1871 and John to Chicago about 1868. Blayney Grier is my GtGF. Of the girls,I know very little.I believe Susannah married another Rowland(no relation). Any details relating to this line of Rowlands would be appreciated, particularly taking me back into the 1700s.Prior to this family,I believe the name was spelt Roland. Also, has anyone a record of a Rowland girl marrying a Whyte, about 1680/90 in Dublin . ...contact Peter at [email protected]
