His father - John Willets Woods, b.1861, married Alice Hewitt 1881 in Poplar, London. John's children: John b.1883 Poplar; Alice b.1884 Poplar; (all following children born in Rotherhithe) - Thomas b.1889; Alfred b.1891; William b.1893; Henry b.1895; Edward b.1899; Michael b.1901. John's father: Charles Woods (poss b.1841) married to Mary Ann Willets).
