He didn't return in 2003, so is unlikely to do so now, especially as he has only contributed 3 posts to the message boards, and one of those is a duplicate of this one

Hello Geoffrey

I am very aware that I am replying to a thread that is nearly 10 years old but I would be delighted to hear from you!
Somehow via Google I managed to stumble across the extensive research you collated into a document. It contains information about my grandfather, Sidney Davis born in Surrey to Ellen Gabbett and Sidney Arnold Davis who eventually settled in Balbriggan, Dublin. Their son Sidney married Mary (known as Molly) McInerney and they had 8 children, one of which is my mother Veronica Davis.
If I have understood this correctly then I believe that Ellen Gabbett had a sister, Annie4 Gabbett, as per your research and that Annie4 Gabbett is your grandmother. This would make you and my mum 2nd cousins?
I really do hope to hear from you to confirm this and a big thanks to you for conducting all of the research into the Gabbett family.

Best regards
Bridget Geraghty

I have extensive data on various "Gabbett" Family Trees from 1450 to the present time, following 12 years of research. I would be pleased to share data with interested parties. Geoff Fielding, Grandson of "Annie Gabbett" from Limerick, Ireland
