I am trying to trace the history of my family. I can only go back as far as my GG grand parents. They were : Andrew Byrne & Elizabeth Mary Cassian & I think they were from Cork Ireland. I am not sure how many children they had in total but know they had at least 2 boys Andrew James & Jack as well as 3 girls Sarah, Molly & Elizabeth. Think there may have been 2 more girls. Arthur James Martin (born in Dublin) & Margaret Carney (born in Jersey) who married in Dublin and moved to Australia via America. They had 4 children, Annie Loftus, Arthur James, Josephine & Christopher who died as an infant 28 August 1883. Andrew James Byrne married Josephine Martin in 1912 in Brisbane Australia and they had 3 children, Iris Madge, Andrew Kevin and Arthur James. Andrew James Byrne died in 1940 and Josephine in 1951. If anyone can cast any further light on this tree it would be greatly appreciated |
