Thomas Heaney married Catherine Lake his grandson Thomas said she was the daughter of Lady lake of Lambert or Lamberton I thought if I could find the place where she lived [ hopfuly they were in same area] then I could go further back.Dont know if it were Scotland Ireland or England.I persume it may have been Ireland. There was a deed Poal change somewhere between Thomas and CharlesBorn9th Dec 1870 Thomas was said to be head gardner to a Lord McKay his son was said to also be a gardener But ran away to Scotland and became a vet My fatherT H Mckay Born21st March 1898 said his father Charles drove the first horse drawen carrage.[think he ment tram] Fron London Rd to Moir St Not shure if any of this amformation can hilp me?
