I am interested in making contact with anyone who has links to the Fanthoms/Fanthams of Oldbury... I am a distant relative of Mercy Fanthom (born at 10 Edward Street, Oldbury on 11 Nov 1897). She was the 3rd wife of my great grandfather and her younger sister, Violet Ethel Fanthom (born 31 Jan 1911 at Farm Road, Oldbury) was the wife of my half Gt Uncle. They were the daughters of Joseph Fanthom (b 1858 in Oldbury) and his 2nd wife, Sarah Dingley (b 1873 in Oldbury); Joseph was the son of Enoch Fanthom (b 1832 in Warley) and his wife, Mercy (b 1836 in Warley). Please get in touch if you spot any links. Sue
