I dont know if its any help. My maiden name was Looseley, I am the daughter of Sidney, who I believe was the brother-in-law of Lilian, did she marry Fred, Ted or Alf? They were my Fathers brothers.

I wish to trace back as far as possible members of my past family by the name of Coates. My name is Tessa Coates, my father'sname was George Alfred Coates, and my father had three sisters. He was born in Fulham South London in 1907, and then he moved to Bradford Yorkshire in the 1940's.His two sisters lived in West Dulwich whose names were Elsie and Trixie. He also had a younger sister Lilian, but she married and took the name of Looseley. She lived in St Mary Cray, Kent.
