KATHLEEN WALKER was my grandmother, who worked in a mill in west yorkshire in the late 1940's/ 1950's. She lived at Hesketh Avenue in West Ardsley, with her family. In 1950, she was dating a man who we believe was quite wealthy and had the surname Fielding, (possibly a boss at the mill?) Subsequently,in early 1951, she had a baby girl, Susan, (my mum!). We have only just found out the details, 56 years on! I would be grateful if anyone who has any further information relating to this could get in touch with me? Mabe you worked at the mill with Kathleen, or simply knew the walker family of HESKETH AVENUE? Any details, especially a first name would be greatly appreciated! Hopefully Yours Kirsty James.x |
