I am trying to find the 'birth date' and 'marriage certificate' of ELIZA APPERLEY. born about 1826 in Cheltenham, Glos. She is shown in the 1851 Census as wife of Isaac Lyons King (circa 1825) (he was the son of Moses & Ann King-Polish Immigrants) Eliza had 6 children (Margasin 1843,Sarah 1846,Jacob 1848, Henry 1850,Barnett 1853,Walter 1855). Isaac then disappeared (cropped up in later Censuses with different wives (5 in total). Eliza then married William Broadhouse (b circa 1817) who was from the Midlands., and had a daughter Julia c1860 Barnett King Apperley was my Gt Grandfather. I have all the information on the family except Eliza birth date and marriage; would love to close this gap in my research. Pat Hill |
