Trying to find Trainer

Hi. I am trying to trace my grandfather's family back, but am having no luck thus far. My grandfather was Francis Allen Trainer, born in Tyne and Wear in 1913. I believe his father was called James, and his mum's maiden name was Blair. They had, to the best of my knowledge, 3 children: Francis, Margaret and William. I am drawing a complete blank from here back. Can anyone help?
