Trying to find Croxford (updated)

I have a small bible left in my mothers' effects belonging to

Charles Gibbs from

Mr Croxford

with the message 'with best love and wishes' dated Sept 1897.

I'd appreciate any help with the connection.

Now updated

I have now found the Croxford and matched him to a 1911 census entry of Amhurst Road, Hackney. He was listed as a Sunday school celebrant at St Judes,Mildmay Park in Hackney/Islington (thanks to An****ry's recent additions). Any matches to Charles Gibbs very gratefully received.

regards Jill

You have some suggested answers on your other post, so probably best to stick to just the one query for Gibbs, as the two are inter-related.
