I am trying to trace relations of my grandmother Jane Gotlieb. She was married to Jacob Psenichnikow but changed their name to Pennikoff/Penikoff (the spelling varied) I believe they originally came from Minsk in the Ukraine. I am not sure what year that was but they were living in Bethnal Green or Mile End New Town in the year 1903. I also understand that relations of this family went to Ohio in USA. I believe that a David Gotlieb/Gottlieb lived in Cincinnati

I would love any information regarding David Gotlieb/Gottlieb. He lived in Cincinnati so I believe. Also David may have been his sons name. This person was my Grandmothers brother and would possibly have gone to USA in the early 1900's. I understand they family came from Russia possibly the Ukraine.

Yes this is my family. All I know is that they arrived in England before 1903. I don't know what ship or port they arrived at. Jane was my grandmother married to Jacob Penikoff. Her maiden name was Gotlieb, hence her brother David Gotlieb. Also I am not sure where they were born, but Jacob's name was Psenichnikow, it was changed to Penikoff sometime before the 1911 census.
All very complicated. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your help.

This is only a possible for David, but birth isn't Russian. Having said that I think Gottlieb sounds more German than Russian.
