Trying to find the where abouts of George Broadley and his wife Charlotte formerly Swindlehurst nee Hargreaves post 1896. Charlotte was the daughter of Cornelious Hargreaves, George married Charlotte as his second wife in 1896 in Padiham, Lancashire after this they dissapear. I have not been able to find either of them in the 1901 census returns or the death indexes. It is possible they had emigrated maybe Canada?. On my Grandad Frank Broadley's Army papers it states fathers address unknown ,though on his marriage certificate of 1901 September his father is not noted as deceased. George was born in Padiham,Lancashire in 1853 the son of Richard Broadley a coal miner and Ellen formerly Diggle nee Day. Any help much appreciated, Steven.John.Broadley
