Trying to find Lovell

I am trying to find my husbands grandfathers family. His name was Charles Lovell, born abt 1878+/_ 1yr . I have a copy of his mothers marriage certificate and it is dated 20 July, 1889 marrying Timothy Lovell, basket maker, Father of Timothy Nathaniel Lovell. Charles mothers name Mary Anne Evans, mary annes father being Rees Evans. This marriage took place at St Asaph, Countyies of Flint & Denbigh.Charles birth place is listed as Shrewsbury, England. I have been told that Charles came to New Zealand aged about 15/16 years. Does this ring a bell for anyone out there???? Please get in touch, Carol Lovell |
