James Greenfield born Auchterarder 1828 married 1845 Aberdeen to Agnes McDonald. Son David was my great grandfather. James abandoned family sometime 1860s probably went to England and may have died 1870s early 1880s. Family was in Leeds several years in 1850s. Any info on James Greenfield appreciated

Hello Robert - I know this reply is somewhat late but I've only just come across your request. I have no knowledge of James Greenfield - but my great, great grandfather was David (carpet weaver) who originally lived in Windmill Brae, Aberdeen, had 7-8 sons and ended up living in Leeds/Hunslet area. Any info I can help you with regarding family after to James will be forth coming, and anything you have would also be appreciated.
Kind regards
Andy Greenfield

Hello Andy, welcome to the boards.

It's not likely that Robert is checking back for replies after 7 years so the best thing to do is to click on his name and send a direct message.

If he's kept an up to date email address registered with Genes then he'll be notified of your contact.
