Have tried for over 2 years to find relatives of Fred BYLES. His father (my grt-grandfather) was WILLIAM BYLES (holder of the China medal for Canton and 3 good conduct medals in the Royal Marine Artillery) who died 1900 and his mother was ELEANOR LAMPEN nee GRIFFITHS. They are both buried in Kingston Cemetery Portsmouth with 5 of their grandchildren. FRED died January/March 1939 age 66 years. Can any one tell me where he is buried? Has anyone any photo's? Fred had 4 children. 3 died after a short while and Edith Rose died at 7 years. FRED's 2nd marriage was to Emily Maud Saunders 1900 when he was a widower. SHOWERS |
