Trying to find Babbington

Trying to find info on my grandmother Elizabeth Jane Huckvale (nee Babbington) born c 1866 in Grimsby. Family tradition is that her father was a sailor, and various websites have turned up the name of Spencer Harrison Babbington who was a mate. Mother believed to be Elizabeth Salter. Is this familiar to anyone Thanks Eric Huckvale

Lorraine, have you tried sending a message to Eric by clicking on his name? As you say, this was posted a very long time ago, and he only ever posted 3 times, so most likely will not see your reply.
You can also search for other members researching the family by using 'search all trees', found in search box above.

Morning Lorrraine - just to make sure that Eric sees your post, you could send him a Private Message by clicking on his name.

As long as GR still have his current email address, he will recieve a message that you are trying to contact him. It's worth mentioning to him if you do write, that he doesn't need to re-subscribe to reply to your PM
