Member Since: March 2004 Posts: 12 Send Message	My great grandmother Elizabeth Lil*ywhite was born in Bangalore, Madras circa 1850. She married Owen Williams, a Captain in the 11th Hussars and had a number of children at least two of which were born in India- one in Lucknow (John Williams), but also three in England and one on the return journey at Gibralter in 1877 when her husband died in India of a tropical disease. I know that it is not much to go on, but if you can make any helpful suggestions I'd be grateful
