Trying to find Bartholomew

I am still trying to find any information about my grandmother Emily Bartholomew. She was supposedly from Rotherham in Yorkshire and was sent down to Exeter to have my mother because she was unmarried. My mother May was born in 1902 in Mansfield Road in Exeter and was given away as a baby, and brought up by Frederick and Rose bastone from East Budleigh in Devonshire. I have found several Emily Bartholomews, but I have no way of knowing which is the right one. I know that Emily Bartholomew married after my mother was born, and it was thought that she emjgrated to either Canada or Australia. Regards Dorothy |
