Trying to find Bishop

Abbey Foregate Street, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, was the street William Evans Bishop lived on. Later he lived in the Canal buildings, Shrewsbury. He was born 11 Jun 1828, Shrewsbury. He married Mary Pocock, and they had a daughter Elizabeth. He came to the U.S.A. in 1855 and settled in the state of Utah where he lived the balance of his life. He married Harriet Morris 28 Sep 1863 in Utah. I have a map of Abbey Foregate Street, and it seems to wind around the actual abbey. Is anyone familiar with Abbey Foregate Street and/or any Bishops or Pococks who lived there? I am still hoping someone will see this message and contact me about it. |
