I'm trying to trace my paternal grandfather William? Martin. He married Annie Jones from Llanfyllin in Mid Wales. Six children: Audrey, Frederick, Winifred, Dorothy, Harold and my father Charles Edgar Martin was the youngest son. His sister Audrey Ellaline Martin was mayor of Llanfyllin in the 50's/60's. I don't have any information on my grandmother, Annie Martin at all. I know that she was the station master's daughter. Don't know the year of her birth or my grandfather's. I'm sure she must have had brothers and sisters. Of my grandfather's family I know of one brother, Charles and a sister, Annie. They came from Henley in Arden to Llanfyllin and Charlie owned a public house in Llanfyllin. If anyone has any information about them, please get in touch. |
