Trying to find Leonard

Trying to trace the history or any ancestors/descendents of my grandfather William Joseph Leonard. I believe he was born in Ireland early 1900s. He was around the Hunstanton area in Norfolk, England circa 1947. I believe he was in the British Army and possibly stationed in Norfolk? Whilst living in Norfolk he fathered 2 children with Annie Kenny. On my mother's birth cert (1949), it states he was a Boot and Shoe mender. I also know he was in the Manchester area in the late 1950's/early 60's. I have been unable to trace any more of that side of my family and I have no further leads to follow. Would be grateful of any information anyone may have.
