My grandfather Alfred Ramsey lived in Ulverston cumbria upto around the 50s and had 5 children from his first marriage including my mother Shiela. I believe he went on to have more children. he may have gone onto live in Barrow or possibly Manchester, and would be well into his 80s were he still alive.
