Trying to find Turner

I have reached a dead end very soon in the search of my Turner ancestors unfortuately my Grandad died when my Dad was only 13 in 1964. My Grandad was an only child who's mother remarried and went on to have more children but I would be grateful if anyone in their research may be able to help me. My Grandad was called George Richard Turner and he was born on the 11th January 1919 possibly and likely to have been in London. He lived in London all his life and was a sheet metal worker. He died on the 13th of July 1964. His mother was called Elizabeth or Elisa Lyons I don't have a date of birth or date of death unfortunately. Her children from her second marriage are still living but I have yet to contact them about her. Although I am really looking for any information on my Grandad's dad and possible further back. Hope someone can help thank you. |
