Trying to find Cooper

JAMES COOPER I am searching for my g-grandfather James Cooper. My grandfather was James William Cooper born 1893 & his mother was Hannah Maria Weaver. Hannah died in 1898 & I believe she was James snr's first wife. I believe that James snr was married at least three times with children from each marriage. The family lived in the London areas of Lambeth, Battersea & Kennington etc but James snr moved to Brighton in later years & I think this is where he died, possibly around the late 1950's. I'm stuck because James Cooper is such a common name, where do I go from here? If any one has any possible links, or if anyone in the family sees this PLEASE get in touch with me findingfamily at westnet dot com dot au Thanks Hilary
