Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 66 Send Message	I'm trying to find details of the father of David Elder Strachan my ggrandfather he was born 29th February 1868 in King Street, Broughty Ferry, Dundee, Angus His mother was Ann Strachan. There were no details of the father on his birth registration. On the 1871 census David is shown as living with his grandfather George Strachan. David's surname was shown as Constable.
