Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	JOAN DOREEN DIXON I am trying to trace relatives from my mums family. Her mothers name was Joan Doreen Rogerson nee Dixon(born about 1937), and her father was Mark Rogerson they had five children Lesley, Lily, David,Shirley and Mark. Joan died following the birth of her fifth child in July 1958, and Mark died mid to late seventies. The four eldest children (including my mum Lily) were put into care and eventually fostered together, the fifth child (Mark)was adopted by their fathers' (Mark) sister in the Sunderland area. I also know Joan had 2 brothers one of whom was called called Len Dixon. The Dixons did originate from the London area (Stepney/Islington has been mentioned)If anyone has any information at all (no matter how small) please let me know, it is my mums' 50th birthday later this year and it would be great if I could give her some information regarding her biological parents.
