Looking for any descendants of George Balls & Jemima Challis, married 1835, of Wormingford, Essex, and the surrounding area, and into Bures area of Suffolk.

Can you give any more details on George ie dob, siblings, parents. My mob (on dads side) came from there.

This is a VERY old thread.


It is entirely possible that Viv no longer looks on GR, and she certainly would not be expecting a reply on this thread.

GR does NOT notify people of new postings on threads.


May I suggest that you try to contact her personally by sending her a pm (personal message)


Just click on her name, write your message in the box that appears, then click Submit.


GR will then send her an email to say that there is a message waiting in the internal system.


Then all you have to do is hope that she still has the same email that is on record with GR.

Thanks Sylvia. I must confess I didn't look at the date...doh!!

I'll try sending her the message and see if I get a reply..if I don't, well at least I haven't wasted a stamp ;-)
