Trying to find Macey

My Great Grandmother was Grace Elizabeth Macey she was born in Pittsberg USA at a wide guess 1880's. Her mother was a Native Indian and her father either American or English. On her mothers death as a child she came to England with her father and settled in Hampshire, for some reason her father changed their surname on arrival to England to Topp. If any one can help me at all please contact me
