Welcome to the boards

I am not sure whether you noticed the date of this thread, but it is nearly 10 years old.

Gavin has'nt got any posts to his name so may not be a member anymore, you could try to cantact him by clicking on his name, if he still has the same email address he will be notified

THE BOSENCE FAMILY

The Bosence family originate from Cornwall, many from Sancreed, Madron, and Paul, although prior to 1066 they may well have come from France. All Bosence's are related, my aim to have all Bosence's and name variants (and there are many) Bossence and Boscence to name but two, in one family tree.

The name Bosence among the Cornish is said to mean "secluded dwelling".

There are three pronunciations for the name in use today, in England Bosence has the emphasis on the second syllable, in Australia the "o" is pronounced as in "bolt" by Bossence and as in "both" by Boscence.

If you can assist me with my dream please feel free to contact me, no matter how small the information is, it all helps.
