To EILEEN, The last one that I mentioned was a newsgroup called soc.genealogy.britain and is not a website. You will need a news-reader (Outlook Express if you must, or Forte Free Agent or similar). The website that I mentioned elsewhere are: Online Birth,Marriage, Death Indexes from 1837-1901 at: www.freebmd.org or freebmd.rootsweb.com Cindislist is a portal to more genealogy links than you can shake a stick at: www.cindislist.com The Public Record Office: www.pro.gov.uk The LDS 'Family Search' site: www.familysearch.com GenUKI - A great starting out place with links to information about many aspects etc. www.genuki.org.uk Hope that helps, Simon.
