The Elizabeth Bird could be a possibility. I have an Elizabeth born 1849 in Norfolk whom I am having difficulty in tracing....lots of Elizabeths!

Do you know how I can access any census pages for Australia....do they have them? I could do with finding more out about the Elizabeth who married in 1866 (birthplace etc) to see if it matches Elizabeth in my tree

Hi Marion Not sure how much more I can offer that you don't already know! As I'm sure you are aware Eleanor, Frances & Grace were all daughters of Robert & Sarah Rose LAMBERT. The registration numbers are: Eleanor d. 1895/298 Sydney Frances b. 1896/392 Sydney, d. 1896/15501 Wagga Wagga (as Francis) Grace b. 1898/15639 Ryde, d. 1898/4169 Sydney Sarah Rose d. 1940/11389 Orange (aged 73) Hope this helps - sorry I can't offer more. Hi Denise Thanks for your query about BIRDs from Norfolk. This involved a bit of detective work but I did find 2 individuals as well as a family from Norfolk who came to Australia. The main one is Peter BIRD and wife Eleanor WALKER with their children George Walker, Fleda Ann & Emma. They must have come via South Australia between 1865 and 1868, as they had another daughter in Adelaide (according to her marriage reg). Looks like they hailed from Aylsham. Peter's parents were Thomas & Ann (nee HALL). Peter & Eleanor had several more chn in Victoria 1871-78 and lived out their days here. I will PM you with full details. These other 2 are ones I cannot locate on the immigration records but their marriages indicate Norfolk as their place of birth... Surname: BIRD Given Names: Elizabeth Event: M Spouse Surname: BARNES Spouse Gvn Names: William [b.
