Not a good idea to post requests on this thread

The original poster has NIL posts against their name and the date shown for membership of 2001 so presumably no longer using the site.

Hello:
I have been trying to find the town of origins of my ggg grandparents; Felix Keenan; b. 1814;IRL and Sarah Jane McQuoid; b. 1809;IRL. Their son, my gg grandfather, John Keenan was baptized in Kircubbin, Co.Down in 1835. At least one of his siblings had Co.Down listed as birthplace, no town.
UHF has indicated likely Inishargy, Ardkeen or Inch areas as both surnames appear there. Felix and family immigrated to Dearham, Cumberland, ENG about 1845 and remained in the Dearham - Maryport - Cockermouth area for generations, some still there.
Any help would be appreciated.

G'day,

Not sure if you are still interested in looking up information but am trying to trace and Andrew Watters, born 1881, Belfast. I have no info on his parents and the next instance of his appearance in any records was in the 1901 Census and he was in the Royal Marines Light Infantry and on board ship near Malta. If I can obtain info on the birth, maybe I can ascertain his parents, etc. Hope you might be able to assist sometime.

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Donegal,
Do you have anything on Mary Beard, she married Thomas Henderson and they lived in the UK, then went to NZ. Mary apparently was Scottish, can't find a marriage in the UK, so I'm wonder if they marrried in SCT.

Robert James Boyd born 22 Jan 1849 in Belfast. Father James, a tailor. In 1871 at time of marriage lived at 4 Bruce St. Belfast. Married Jane McGregor of 12 Caroline St Belfast. Daughter of Robert a Carter.
He had 3 children with Jane, one died. After Jane died in 1877 Edward James McGregor Boyd, born in 26 Nov 1872 was left in Ireland with Robert's brother while sister Jane, born 23 Jun 1876 went to England with her father. Robert remarried in England in 1881. .
I am looking for the mother of Robert James Boyd, and the ancestry of his father James.
I would also like to track down the descendants of Edward James McGregor Boyd who was left in Ireland with an Uncle (maybe Isaac Boyd).
Can you help?

I have found my great-great- grandfather - James Wilson baptised in 1805 at St Anne's, Shankill, Belfast. His parents are listed as James and Margaret Wilson but no address or clues as to how I can find out more about them. I would like to find out when James (senior) was born and where - Belfast ... probably and I am guessing around 1780 (based on assumption he was around 25 when his son was born). Any chance of any help with this? Many thanks! Christine (Wilson)
